70 Years Politechnika Wroclaw

The organization Diplomaten International pursues the mandate of the United Nations for worldwide education initiatives. The education initiative of the United Nations aims to preserve and win peace, because better education provides all peoples with access to better living conditions. Knowledge is the currency and the natural resource on which countries assert themselves in the world market.

70 Years Politechnika Wroclaw

The Republic of Poland sets a best example here: the universities in Kraków and Wroclaw are among the best in the world. The organization Diplomaten International therefore gladly accepted the invitation to the 70th anniversary of the Technical University in Wroclaw. This significant Technical University – Politechnika Wroclaw - has made a name for itself through well-trained engineers who are in high demand in the international technical sector.

The ceremonial celebration began in the Grand Opera in Wroclaw. Rector Prof. Tadeusz Wieckowski also referred to the founders of the university and led through the ceremony. The President of DMW, Dr. Günther Meinel, was also able to enjoy the ceremonial evening. The ceremony was honored by many personalities. Prof. Edward Chlebus – Dean of Politechnika Wroclaw - has made exceptional contributions in his field of science. He was able to hand over numerous research results to industry. Through the use of experimental systems in study training, his graduates are particularly in demand.

Prof. Tadeusz Wieckowski is a very influential figurehead as President of the technical universities in Poland and President of the Rectors' Conferences. He is considered a special initiator for the education initiative in Poland, which has achieved much so far. He was assured of support and cooperation.

A highlight of the ceremony was the ceremonial award of the President of the Fraunhofer Society, Prof. Dr. Reimund Neugebauer, who received an honorary doctorate. After an moving eulogy by Rector Prof. Wieckowski, Prof. Neugebauer received the honorary doctorate for his merits in his scientific work for the development of the university. In his thank-you speech, Prof. Dr. Reimund Neugebauer referred to the long-standing good connections to research institutions in Silesia and to Politechnika University in Wroclaw. He highlighted the development stages as exemplary. The attending guests of honor were deeply impressed by the event. Especially the protocol for the representative excellences was extremely emotional for the guests.

The President of Diplomaten International, Dr. Günther Meinel, warmly congratulates the President of the Fraunhofer Society on the worthy honor. Both assure themselves of good cooperation for the benefit of science. Between the professors and the organization Diplomaten International, projects were discussed that are carried out jointly on an international basis with four countries.

Among the professors, Prof. Chlebus and Prof. Neugebauer, there exists a trusting and good partnership with the Technical University and the Fraunhofer Society. In particular, improved opportunities in student training through the use of experimental systems during teaching were discussed between the rectors of the technical universities. The application of these systems improves engineering education to meet world standards. Studies have proven that through this use, engineering training with practical maturity is shortened by three years and maximum efficiency in education is achieved. According to an international comparison, the experimental systems from the company Lucas-Nülle from Germany are leading here. Engineers trained with these systems have the best chances on the world market and determine the world top!

Thus, the owner and founder Dipl. Ing. Rolf Lucas-Nülle is also active in the scientific advisory board for education initiatives in the organization for the United Nations. Mr. Lucas-Nülle asked himself about 45 years ago the question of how well "trained" engineers and well-educated technical specialists could help shape economic development. So he began to create solutions that are now used worldwide. For the new generation of scientists, young doctors were appointed who have successfully completed their scientific work in technical fields.

The President Prof. Tadeusz Wieckowski has invited to the next Rectors' Conference, which takes place in Gdynia. The international good relations with Poland are of great importance for peace. Through financial support from the budget of the European Union, Poland is at the same time a winner through the EU enlargement.
