Cuba – July 24, 2024

Among other things, we decided on measures to support and further develop education and healthcare. The healthcare system in Cuba remains free of charge, and education as well as school meals continue to be funded by the state—thanks to the revolutionary leader and later head of state, Fidel Castro.

Highly trained doctors are even requested by the United States, highlighting the esteemed status of Cuba’s medical sector and underscoring the continued need for support.
