The Great Prize 2014 of Turkey

Many guests of honor followed the award ceremony and gave the occasion a dignified atmosphere. In 2014, the President of the organization Diplomaten International Dr. Günther Meinel was also nominated and selected due to his now 15-year commitment to bringing Turkey closer to the European Union.

In his thank-you speech, Dr. Meinel emphasized that the award ceremony was at the same time a commitment for further engagement. He referred to the rapid pace of development and the enthusiasm of the people in Turkey, who show themselves particularly motivated by successes. To a special extent, Meinel had also campaigned for the relocation of the world headquarters for investment management from Zurich, Switzerland to Istanbul, which was now accepted at a world congress by 80% of the countries.
