The University of Cologne and Istanbul’s Kemerburgaz University concluded a unique cooperation for a joint law degree. According to the agreement signed at the University of Cologne, students will study the first four semesters over two years at Cologne’s Faculty of Law and then two years at Kemerburgaz University in Istanbul. This binational program, so far unique in Germany, leads to both the German and Turkish law degrees.

The president and rector established KEMERBURGAZ University very successfully within just three years.

Applications from students to this modern, Europe-oriented university cannot yet all be accommodated. However, the university will expand significantly by 2015. So far, 3,000 students have space for exciting programs under good conditions.

This is where academics are trained who will pave the way to Europe and help shape a modern Turkey.

The university’s commission also honors distinguished personalities who help create a path for international understanding and education.
