Chairman Günther Meinel and board member Udo Stocker were invited to the international conference on economic development in Africa on May 25, 2012.
Projects are being prepared to develop and qualify the service sector in order to build the tourism industry in Congo. The local population is being offered a variety of training programs for service staff. Designers, merchants, economic planners, florists, chefs, restaurateurs, and gardeners—as well as their trainers—are being qualified.
In Mozambique, agronomic and veterinary conditions are being taught to establish hygienic and ecological livestock farming, and cattle breeders are being trained for germ-free veterinary livestock operations.
The water buffalo breeding project, which has remained disease-free for three generations, covers the demand for meat and stabilizes exports through technological processing, creating benefits for rural populations.
Talks with the President of the European Investment Bank, former State Minister Dr. Werner Hoyer, have opened new opportunities for fulfilling development tasks in Africa. Discussions about development projects with then State Minister Dr. Hoyer already began 12 years ago.
In Namibia, projects for energy supply were also agreed upon by the chairman of INGO Diplomaten International.
